The White House has launched a new YouTube livestream dubbed "Trump TV" that airs around-the-clock reruns of President Trump's speeches, bill signings, and other official moments. The initiative was announced by Kaelan Dorr, the White House's head of digital strategy, who described the content as the president's "greatest hits, unfiltered."
Dorr cited dissatisfaction with mainstream press coverage as justification for the channel, stating that "in some cases, the press reported inaccurately or not at all on the Administration's many record breaking accomplishments." The launch comes shortly after the administration excluded CNN, MS Now, and Politico from White House press briefings, raising concerns about access and transparency.
The channel represents an unconventional approach to presidential communications, using YouTube as a direct-to-camera platform to bypass traditional media filtering. Unlike conventional press coverage, the stream presents unedited footage of official events without journalistic commentary or context.
