AWS Billing Bug Accidentally Displays Billion-Dollar Charges for Some Customers
On Friday, several AWS customers were greeted with alarming bill estimates on their accounts, showing charges in the billions of dollars. The massive overcharges were quickly attributed to a billing software bug rather than actual usage, and Amazon has since confirmed it is actively working to fix the issue.
