AMD posts record quarter as data center revenue reaches $8.5 billion
AMD’s data center business drove record financial results in the third quarter of 2026, generating $8.5 billion of the company’s $13.4 billion in quarterly revenue.
CEO Lisa Su described the quarter as the largest and most profitable in AMD’s history. AMD also forecast approximately $17 billion in revenue for the next quarter, which would set another record.
Looking ahead, Su said AMD expects revenue to grow by more than 80% in 2027, with the data center segment expected to remain the largest contributor. She also indicated that data centers could eventually account for most of the company’s revenue.
