Anduril and Qualcomm unveil BlueChip US-made laptop
Anduril and Qualcomm have introduced BlueChip, a laptop tied to an effort to rebuild domestic computer manufacturing in the United States.
The initiative is broader than assembling laptops domestically. According to Anduril founder Palmer Luckey, the goal is to produce individual components in the US, including parts that are currently sourced exclusively from China.
The launch positions BlueChip as an early test of whether a more complete domestic hardware supply chain can be established for personal computers.
