Apple Unveils Next-Generation Siri with Enhanced AI Capabilities
Apple has announced a major overhaul of Siri at WWDC, describing it as an "entirely new version" of its smart assistant with enhanced AI capabilities.
The updated Siri is described as more conversational and capable than previous versions. Users can customize the assistant's voice by adjusting pace, expressivity, and accent, making interactions feel more personalized.
The new Siri operates systemwide and can read content displayed on the user's screen, enabling it to interact with apps and perform tasks across the iOS ecosystem. Apple's Senior Vice President of Software Engineering Craig Federighi presented the features during the developer conference.
This announcement comes two years after Apple initially revealed its Apple Intelligence plans, with the company now delivering on promises of a more intelligent and capable digital assistant.
