Apple Begins Rolling Out iOS 27 With Siri AI Overhaul
Apple has begun rolling out iOS 27 to compatible devices today, accompanied by updates to watchOS 27, iPadOS 27, and visionOS 27. The update coincides with the launch of the iPhone 18 Pro.
The centerpiece of this release is the AI-powered overhaul of Siri, which arrives as a beta feature initially available only in English. Apple has confirmed that support for French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish will be added in October.
Beyond Siri, iOS 27 introduces a new Liquid Glass opacity slider, giving users the ability to adjust the interface between a clearer and a frostier aesthetic. Several built-in apps are also receiving updated icon designs with subtle visual refinements.
The staggered language rollout means international users outside the initial English-supported markets will need to wait for the October update to access the new Siri AI features in their native languages.
