Apple Reportedly Plans a Touch-Screen MacBook Pro

Apple is reportedly preparing to unveil a touch-screen MacBook Pro, according to Bloomberg. The product would represent a notable reversal for a company that has long resisted adding touch controls to its Mac laptops.

The reported launch could also coincide with executive promotions within Apple, although details of the planned personnel changes have not been provided in the available report.

If introduced as described, the touch-screen MacBook Pro would give Apple a new interface option for its professional notebook line and signal a shift in its long-standing product strategy.
