NASA Directs ISS Crew to Shelter in SpaceX Dragon as New Leaks Detected in Russian Module
NASA has directed astronauts aboard the International Space Station to seek shelter inside the SpaceX Dragon capsule following the discovery of new leaks in the station's Russian service module.
The space agency announced that Roscosmos, Russia's space corporation, detected the leaks and is currently working to repair them. As a precautionary measure, crew members were instructed to move into the Dragon spacecraft, which serves as one of the crewed vehicles currently docked at the ISS.
The situation remains under monitoring as repair efforts continue. The Russian service module has experienced recurring issues over the years, and this latest incident adds to ongoing concerns about the aging infrastructure of certain ISS components.
