Nvidia Predicts $108 Billion Quarter as AI Demand Fuels Record Revenue
Nvidia is on the verge of joining an elite group of companies that have ever surpassed $100 billion in quarterly revenue, alongside Amazon, Apple, and Alphabet. In its latest earnings report, the chipmaker revealed record quarterly revenue of $96.2 billion—a jump of over $10 billion from the previous quarter—while profits more than doubled to $59.7 billion.
The company's data center segment continues to be the primary growth engine, reaching $89 billion in revenue for the quarter, more than double the year-ago figure. This surge reflects the insatiable demand for Nvidia's AI accelerators and GPU compute power across cloud providers, enterprises, and AI startups.
Looking ahead, Nvidia projects quarterly revenue of approximately $108 billion for the upcoming period, which would mark the first time the company crosses the nine-figure quarterly revenue threshold. The company also highlighted its expanding "edge computing" category, which includes consumer gaming hardware among other products.
