Study links 10 healthy dietary patterns with slower biological aging

A study from DZNE examined 10 dietary patterns considered healthy, including the Mediterranean, Nordic and plant-based diets, as well as DASH, which is designed to help lower blood pressure.

The researchers found that adherence to these different healthy eating patterns was associated with slower biological aging. The results indicate that healthy eating is not limited to a single dietary model; people can follow several approaches and still show signs of reduced biological aging.

The findings were published in the journal Nature Communications.
