Scientists have demonstrated a novel approach to brewing espresso that utilizes ultrasonic waves instead of hot water. This innovative technique results in coffee comparable in quality to conventionally brewed espresso.

A key advantage of the ultrasonic brewing process is its significant energy efficiency. By removing the requirement for hot water, the method consumes 75 percent less energy than traditional espresso machines.
