Nintendo Switch 2 reportedly jailbroken with an AI-assisted exploit
The Nintendo Switch 2 has reportedly been jailbroken, with a modder demonstrating a custom version of Mario Kart World that includes characters such as Cinnamoroll, the red Angry Bird, Peter Griffin, Hatsune Miku, and Steve from Minecraft.
According to Sammy Hajhamid, also known as "pepsipu," the exploit was developed with help from OpenAI's Codex and has been released as "ns2jb." The method is described as using an older game as the basis for the jailbreak.
The demonstration is notable because it combines AI-assisted coding with homebrew modifications for one of the console's launch-era exclusives. No broader assessment of the exploit's stability, security implications, or ease of reproduction is detailed in the available report.
