Electronic Arts (EA) has officially completed its transition from a publicly traded company to private ownership. The $55 billion deal, led by Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF) alongside Silver Lake and Affinity Partners, closed this week, with PIF acquiring a reported 93.4% stake in the company.
