TikTok launches a standalone shopping app

TikTok has quietly introduced a standalone TikTok Shop app designed to consolidate its e-commerce experience.

The app includes personalized product recommendations and lets users shop through live streams and short-form videos. It also supports app-exclusive deals, in-app checkout, order tracking, and customer support.

The separate app gives TikTok Shop a dedicated product while retaining the video-driven format that is central to the main TikTok platform.
