Apple Cannot Predict When iPhone Duo Supply Will Meet Demand

Apple is working to expand availability of its first foldable iPhone, but CEO John Ternus says the company cannot predict when supply will meet demand.

The iPhone Duo launched last month at $1,999. It features a 5.4-inch outer display and a 7.6-inch inner screen. Preorders sold out quickly, while Apple also made a limited number of units available in stores at launch.

Some customers are expected to receive the device in 2027, highlighting the scale of the initial supply constraints. Ternus said Apple is working to make the iPhone Duo available to as many customers as possible.
