Sleep duration appears to influence how quickly the body ages biologically, according to a comprehensive review of multiple aging clocks. Researchers examining 23 different biological aging metrics found that the lowest levels of cellular and systemic aging were associated with sleeping approximately 6.4 to 7.8 hours per day.
