Rivian’s R2 becomes its best-selling vehicle as revenue grows
Rivian’s R2 electric vehicle has become the company’s best-selling model, marking a milestone as production of the vehicle ramps up.
The company reported $2.155 billion in revenue for the third quarter of 2026, up 38% from $1.558 billion in the same quarter a year earlier. Automotive revenue accounted for $1.55 billion, a 36% year-over-year increase.
Rivian also generated $605 million from software and subscription services, up 45% year over year. The results show that the company’s newer R2 is gaining traction while its software and subscription businesses continue to expand.
